About Us
Bill and Morgan started the firm Wood & Bembry LLC in March 2013. Bill has practiced in Lawrenceville since 2011 after 30 years with a large Atlanta law firm. Morgan decided to join her father’s practice after two years at an intellectual property firm in Atlanta.
The family can trace its roots in Gwinnett County to the late 1700s, through the Morgan, Benson, and Kyle families.
William B. Wood - Partner
Bill grew up in Covington, Georgia, the county seat of Newton County. A "Triple Dawg," he obtained his B.B.A., M.B.A., and J.D. from the University of Georgia. After a stint in the United States Coast Guard, Bill and his wife, Susan, returned to Georgia and eventually settled in Snellville in 1976.

Morgan grew up in the Gwinnett County Public Schools, attending elementary school at Centerville, Annistown, and Shiloh (in its first graduating class), middle school at Shiloh, and high school at Brookwood. She is a "Double Dawg" who earned her A.B.J. and J.D. from the University of Georgia.
